New Concept - Magic Flippers Magic Flippers Magic Flippers - Part 2

This Transformers LE pinball machine has been fitted with a special motion detection system to demonstrate how a new technology may change the way we play pinball in the future. The flippers are operated by hands moving above the playfield.

Could the 'Magic Flippers' help to rediscover the magic of a pinball? This new concept has been demonstrated by Norbert Snicer at the AMD Transformers LE Product Launch Party at AMF Bowling Centre in North Strathfield, Sydney on December 13, 2011. This project was done to raise the awareness of pinballs among the general public, it is not how the machines are sold.

If video games could take the advantage of a technology, which did not exist a few years ago why not a pinball. The incorporation of the body movement into the game of pinball will not make the flipper buttons obsolete. It expands the player's experience and it has the potential to attract a new generation of players. Could this concept enhance the future pinballs, which will have LCD screens? I am sure it could, the possibilities are endless. I'd love to throw discs in the future TRON pin and dodge the once which come at me. The pinballs need to evolve too.
